The Three Horrors

1. The Doll

She had always wanted a doll, ever since she was a little girl. She saw one in the window of an antique shop, and begged her mother to buy it for her. It was a porcelain doll, with curly blonde hair and blue eyes, dressed in a frilly pink dress. She named it Annabelle, and took it everywhere with her. She loved to brush its hair, change its clothes, and talk to it as if it was her best friend. But soon, she noticed something strange about the doll. It seemed to move by itself, sometimes changing its position or expression when she wasn't looking. She also heard whispers at night, coming from the doll's mouth. She tried to tell her mother, but she didn't believe her. She said it was just her imagination, and that she should stop being silly. She decided to ignore the doll, and hoped it would go away. But it didn't. One night, she woke up to find the doll sitting on her chest, holding a knife. It smiled wickedly, and said in a raspy voice: "You don't love me anymore. Now you'll pay."

2. The Phone

He was bored at home, with nothing to do. He decided to prank call some random numbers, just for fun. He dialed a number he found online, and waited for someone to answer. He heard a click, and then a voice said: "Hello?" He recognized the voice. It was his friend, who had died in a car accident a week ago. He was shocked, and hung up the phone. He thought it was a mistake, or a coincidence. He dialed another number, hoping to forget what he had heard. He heard another click, and then another voice said: "Hello?" He recognized the voice again. It was his girlfriend, who had broken up with him yesterday. He was confused, and hung up the phone again. He dialed a third number, feeling nervous. He heard another click, and then another voice said: "Hello?" He recognized the voice one last time. It was his own voice, saying: "You're next."

3. The Mirror

She was obsessed with her appearance, always checking herself in the mirror. She spent hours applying makeup, fixing her hair, and choosing her outfits. She wanted to look perfect, and to be admired by everyone. She also liked to take selfies, and post them on social media. She received many likes and compliments, which boosted her ego and confidence. She felt like she was the most beautiful person in the world. But one day, she noticed something odd in one of her selfies. There was a crack on the mirror behind her, which she hadn't seen before. She zoomed in on the image, and saw something else in the reflection. It was a face, but not hers. It was a twisted and distorted face, with bloodshot eyes and sharp teeth. It was smiling maliciously at her, as if mocking her vanity. She screamed, and dropped her phone. She ran to the mirror, and saw that it was intact. There was no crack, no face, nothing unusual. She breathed a sigh of relief, and thought it was just a glitch or a prank. She picked up her phone again, and looked at the selfie once more. The face was still there.
